Helps Fill the Void Caused by VMS Demise

Further enhancing its one-stop news and social media monitoring capabilities, Moreover Technologies, Inc. has inked a deal with TVEyes, Inc. to incorporate broadcast coverage into Moreover’s award-winning Newsdesk solution. This comes on the heels of a partnership with DataSift to enrich social media monitoring (including Twitter), filtering and analysis; and will help fill the void created by the demise of longtime TV news monitoring giant Video Monitoring Services (VMS).

Coupled with Newsdesk’s faceted search and filtering features in both news and social media, the addition of national, cable and local TV broadcast provides an affordable, completely integrated, single-source media monitoring solution. TVEyes plans to expand the scope of international coverage beyond its current US and UK-dominated platform and add more radio coverage, complementing Moreover’s already extensive presence in the global monitoring community.

Newsdesk users will be able to conduct unlimited broadcast searches going back 30 days, then retrieve video previews and, as desired, full reports that can be shared in multiple high-resolution formats, along with other desired online news and social media content. Near real-time translation into English from foreign languages, and ability to rapidly add a channel, station or consumer-generated content round out a robust broadcast offering.

“We’re making it extremely easy, reliable, and cost-effective for organizations to find their proverbial needles in the haystack for business news, social and now broadcast all in one place,” notes Moreover President Paul J. Farrell. “Users can rapidly synthesize, analyze and share all opinion-forming media from Twitter to the Today Show to see how their brand or reputation are doing, or gain detailed insight for informed decision-making. And, it’s all available in near real-time, ensuring the most current actionable intelligence possible.”

Adds David J. Ives, TVEyes president and CEO, “The global presence of Moreover Technologies will help drive our efforts to expand broadcast coverage from a current base in the US, UK, Middle East, Canada, Greece, and China. And, combining the two companies’ ability to monitor multiple languages as well as provide translation will facilitate understanding worldwide. It’s part of our mission to organize the world’s TV and radio broadcasts and make them universally searchable.”
