In the first half of 2024, TVEyes has made significant strides in expanding and enhancing our global audio and video intelligence offerings. From our strategic expansion into the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region to the launch of YouTube Monitoring and substantial upgrades to our Speech-to-Text technology, we’ve continuously pushed the boundaries to provide our clients with unparalleled media monitoring services and data solutions. As we look back on these achievements, we are excited to share the details of our progress and the advancements that position TVEyes as a global leader in the industry.
Expanding Our Reach
In February, we announced our expansion into the rapidly-changing MENA region. With the addition of the MENA region and content, TVEyes has expanded its global audio and video intelligence to nearly 40 countries, further solidifying its position as an industry leader and one of the most extensive audio and video data solutions available.
The TVEyes MENA offering includes:
- Comprehensive Television and Radio channels spanning major countries such as Qatar, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, offering a diverse and wide array of news and regional content.
- Hundreds of Podcasts that offer clients a deeper understanding of regional conversations from categories such as news, politics, technology, business, and health & fitness.
Enhancing Our Offerings:
YouTube Monitoring was another major addition for TVEyes in the month of February. Our suite of solutions expands our global data offerings far beyond traditional audio and visual media monitoring, providing several rich and valuable sources such as global podcasts, YouTube, and specialized historical data which provides essential information and intelligence to our clients.
Our API customers are now able to monitor data from more channels across YouTube’s Trending and News Categories. This includes more than 10,000 videos and over 3,000 hours of indexed content per day. This influential content is rich with essential data for use in brand monitoring, trend identification, crisis management, competitive intelligence, and many other types of analytics and applications.
We’re extremely excited about this new development, and are looking forward to announcing additional innovative products in the second half of 2024.
Enriching our Data & Technology:
The month of May brought significant data enhancements to its leading Global Podcast Data & Monitoring Solutions that deliver more data, functionality, and decision-making capabilities to TVEyes users. Backed by the leading podcast contacts database, TVEyes podcast customers can now access:
- Doubled U.S. podcasts listenership database
- New listenership data from thousands of international podcasts across the UK, Sweden, Germany, Canada, Australia, the Netherlands, and the MENA region
- Rich, aggregated demographic data on an individual podcast including listener age, gender, location, and income
- Contact information, which includes names and email addresses
- Unique influence metrics that show the relative reach and influence of a podcast
But that’s not all…
Our dedicated team at the TVEyes Language Technology Labs (TLT Labs) has been tirelessly working to enhance our proprietary Speech-to-Text technology. In June, we proudly announced the completion of this major project, which encompasses two generations of technological advancements. These significant upgrades demonstrate remarkable improvements in accuracy for key global languages, surpassing industry leaders like Google, Amazon, and Whisper in performance.
